Here are some simple ways to earn points:

• For every 1/2 hour of practice (confirmed by mom or dad) you will receive 1 point.
• For every assignment you complete you can earn 1-3 points (depending on degree of completion)
• Once, during each 8 week period, you will be tested on music notes, instrument notes, or other music theory concepts for a total of 5 points.
• For having a productive, focused and enjoyable lesson, you can earn 1-3 points (depending on attitude and productivity)

If you start lessons in the middle of this 8 week contest, you will be given the average point total, to date, to start with.
